the disease. Celebrities like Rihanna, Lady Gaga, and Shawn Mendes have made
donations to charities specializing in corona virus relief.
Other
celebrities are practicing self-isolation to contribute to flattening the curve
of corona virus. With everything going on in the world, celebrities are using
their platforms to make a positive impact.
These
celebrities listed join a growing list of influential figures and major brands
that have also made donations to combat the pandemic.
Additionally,
it goes to show celebrities are more like us. They are normal human beings who
are just as susceptible to the corona virus as anyone else would be, which is
why they wanted to help.

Rihanna
Rihanna’s Clara Lionel Foundation gave $5 million to bolster coronavirus response efforts, helping the most vulnerable in the United States, the Caribbean, and Africa.
Kristen Bell and her kids donated $150,007.96 to No Kid Hungry. The reason for the uneven amount is because her kids wanted to join her in her donation as well. Bell said in a statement, “the number is odd because my kids asked if they could also donate money from their piggy banks.”
